As a Senior Suspension Designer*, you’ll combine your passion for racing with your expertise in the development of suspension components. You’ll participate in our development process, be responsible for functionality, and be involved in the projects that drive our success. Do you have the passion and drive it takes?
THE TASKS AWAITING YOU
- Working across various racing programs, such as Motocross, Enduro, Rally, MotoGP, and Moto2
- End-to-end responsibility for the development of suspension components, assemblies and complete systems from concept definition to on-track race implementation
- Support of in-house prototype testing, including the associated data analysis and the transition to field testing
- Design of CAD models, creation of technical drawings, documentation and BOMs
- Execution of simulation-driven design analyses and continuous optimization of suspension systems, including forks, shock absorbers, steering dampers and mass dampers
- Clarification and coordination of technical details with purchasing, international suppliers and quality management
- Acting as contact person for the respective designs between development technicians, race and test teams
- Coordination of the yearly and sub-yearly suspension build-up and rebuild
HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US
- Successfully completed technical education with a focus on automotive engineering or mechanical engineering (HTL/FH/University)
- Several years of experience in component development and design engineering
- Basic knowledge of structural analysis (FEA/FEM simulation) is an advantage, as well as a willingness to further develop expertise in structural analysis
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and technical CAD software, ideally PTC Creo
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken – German is a benefit
- Strong passion for motorcycles and motorsport
- Fundamental technical knowledge combined with a strong understanding of technical drawing standards, development processes and quality requirements
- Highly motivated and reliable personality with an independent, responsible, and structured working style
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
